Appraisal Associates & Services, Inc. was founded in 1994 by my father, Hugh M. Crumpton, Jr. I grew up with an early appreciation for the appraisal profession and began working alongside him while completing my degree at the University of South Florida.
Before allowing me to begin my appraisal career, my father encouraged me to first obtain my real estate license, believing that a strong understanding of the broader real estate industry would provide an essential foundation for valuation work. That experience gave me a more comprehensive perspective on real estate transactions, market behavior, and property value — a perspective that has continued to shape my approach throughout my career.
What began with assisting in the office and learning the business from the ground up ultimately became a lifelong profession. Today, with approximately 25 years of residential appraisal experience throughout the Tampa Bay market, I am proud to lead Appraisal Associates & Services, Inc. as its second-generation owner.
As a female-owned, locally established firm, we continue to uphold the principles on which the company was founded: independent and objective valuation, thoughtful analysis, personal service, and an in-depth understanding of the local real estate market.
